ATC catch up

The year before last I really got into ATC's (Artist Trading Cards). They are little cards 2.5" x 3.5" and can be hand drawn, stamped, painted, mixed media or digital, basically whatever takes your fancy and the idea is you make them and you trade them with fellow ATC artists. It's a lot of fun and fairly quick to do.

Here are the ones I made and traded. Most are Halloween ones...

A couple more

I forget to update this blog!

A couple more cards that I have made recently :o)

Both using Kaisercraft papers (Gypsy Sisters and Hello Birdy) and Greeting Farm stamps.

Wow! Is it really that long since I posted!

Oops! I had no idea it had been that long since I last posted. I have done a few craft things since May last year.

This was a little canvas I made for a Halloween swap.

Along with some little potion bottles.

And a little trick or treat kitty.

For Fathers Day I made my hubby a card.

I promise to update more often. I have big plans to make more cards and get back into ATC's this year plus a few other crafty projects up my sleeves :o)

My first card!

I made a card for a friend with one of the images I coloured the other day.

Yay, I feel like I have achieved something :o)

Welcome

I thought it would be a good idea to start a new blog, still under the Resin Angel's umbrella, but about craft not dolls. Though be warned sometimes the two could blur together a little.

Craft wise I like to try my hand at new things every now and again and this is where you will hear about it. At the moment it's mainly paper crafts. I love distress inks, stamps, pretty buttons, ribbons and my latest love Copic markers.

My favorite stamps at the moment are from The Greeting Farm and Stamping Bella.

Here are a few of my first attempts with Copics.

Greeting Farm Flirty Anya

Greeting Farm Cheeky Rockabilly

Greeting Farm Dahlia

I still have loads to learn about Copics and I only have a limited supply of colours. They are so fun to use, just wish they weren't so pricey, otherwise I'd have every colour of the rainbow. My goal is to be able to make a handful of cards ready for birthdays and special occasions. Time and time again lately I've had to buy cards for people and I always think gee it'd be nice if I had hand made a card, it would be so much more special. Plus it's fun, and it's always nice to have a creative outlet :o)

So there we go, my first crafty post. Hopefully this will be the start of something big! XD
